The long-awaited next installment of my Portal Wallpaper series. Sorry to have kept you guys waiting so long, but I've had a lot of stuff happening lately and it completely slipped my mind.
Anyway, this wallpaper obviously features the turrets from the game. Made, as usual, in Garry's Mod for Half-Life 2. I had to import NPCs for the turrets to get it to open and shoot, which was annoying because it was a bitch to get a good screenshot. The background quotes were taken from Wikiquote, because I honestly do not know how I could possibly get all the different lines from the game itself. Anyway, I hope you enjoy it, I'll be working on the final one now, featuring the Weighted Companion Cube.  |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on.  reports, 1d 23h agoThis newsletter was "born" back in March 2007, from a conversation between ~Lareth and =FrozenStarRo, who with the help of their friends *Iardacil and *Sylwiaa , wanted to make something to promote known and unknown photomanipulators alike here on DeviantArt. As of September 2009 =ImaginaryRosse joined the project and will be helping us out with the weekly choices. I absolutely love the Portal turrets, and having all their lines there in the wallpaper is an awesome idea. (Hell I love the turrets over the Cube. They talk! And are in more than one level...)
You missed one line though: "Owowowowow" when they fall over and start shooting, or end up in acid.
